A key part of this philosophy is engineering excellence. PPI brings together experienced design, service and project engineers with extensive knowledge of rotating electrical machines. This expertise enables the company to design new motors and generators, upgrade existing equipment, diagnose problems and provide specialised engineering support across a wide range of industries.
PPI Engineering also places considerable importance on people and knowledge. The company invests in training, professional development and apprenticeships, recognising that its engineering capability depends on the skills and experience of its employees. Apprentices and employees are given opportunities to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical engineering skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.

QUALITY CONTROL
Our commitment to maintaining our quality control for all customer product is at the forefront of our priorities. Accreditations such as ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials Plus are key to our deliverance of quality assurance.
Our inspectors will conduct individual inspection of all components to ensure they meet given specifications. Depending on the material, we have the ability to conduct the following inspection points:
Dimensional Reports | Metallurgical testing | Mechanical Properties | NDT | SPC
All machines shall be run up to the agreed speed until stabilises. Third party/witness testing is also available should it be required.
Reports for all inspection points, detailed reports can be provided to prove its compliance with given specifications.
PPI ARE A CERTIFIED JOSCAR SUPPLIER
The Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) allows purchasers in the Aerospace, Defence, Security & Space sectors to identify qualified suppliers. This accreditation is valued in high regard and indicates that PPI have been through a rigorous process in order to demonstrate the correct capabilities, commitment and appropriate credentials. Among other areas JOSCAR evaluates company security, accreditations’, corporate social responsibility, ethical operations and financial records.

This respected accreditation system for suppliers enables purchasers to trade with pre-qualified organisations in confidence. JOSCAR membership is designed to improve efficiency of the supply chain process by adding assurance that only the highest quality products and solutions can be sourced using their database. Further guaranteeing that the suppliers listed comply with best practices.
